First off, there is no substitute for birth control. Whenever you have sex no matter the day you may still conceve. I recomend the patch, easy to go on, use and when you wish to have a kid easy to get off of. If you wish to play the day game it is based on the amount of days in your cycle. The average is 28 days in which the girls i have spoken too including a doctor say it is a less of a chance to conceve on the first 4 days after your cycle, and 2 days before you are planned to have your next. I have been married for a year, and even when playing the day game i have lost the game twice but gained beautiful kids. Good Luck

Save yourself a lot of time and just use condoms or birth control pills/patch. Counting days doesn't always work because different women ovulate at different times of the month. You could ovulate on your 14th day one month and the 20th day the next.

Um,I'm sorry but that's not the greatest Idea (in my opinion). Babys who are conceived while using any form of birth prevention are proven to have more of a chance to have serious problems at birth. But I don't know how to help the asker,so sorry.

You can get pregnant ANY time of the month, even when you are having your period, Use the pill if you do not want to get pregnant. the 14th day of your cycle is your most fertile (14 days after the 1st day of your period)

this will help. if you need more info, try a fertility site, you can see what they say and do the opposite. how about you ask your doctor about birth control and the different kinds. you have a selection.

I would use some sort of birth control. Sometimes you may miscalculate and you conceive anyway.

that's not your safest bet and it doesn't always work.. you need to find another form of birth control... you don't need to have a baby so new and fresh in to your marriage.... cuz it will sooo change after you... spend your time together first...
