there is not any actual data to point that previous-existence regression therapy is a valid healing technique. The advent of fake memories is in all risk by no potential a good concept. there is data, whether, that the affected person's proneness to have faith in reincarnation strongly impacts the potential of the affected person to experience their "previous lives." That has to be Somewhere In Time.
A guy meets her Character when she is old he reminds her of a past love who gave her a pocket watch v.precious to her she gives it to him. Soon after dies. The guy asks the old Lady's friend about where the watch came from.
He sees a pic of her when young on the wall she looks beautiful and he starts to fall for Jane Character a famous stage star.
The man goes to a professor he knows who has found a way of time travelling so he can go back and be with old lady when she was young in 20's or 30's (Janes Character).
He finds the hotel she stayed at one summer and spooky he was in the hotel where Janes Character is doing a play at the hotel.
He discovers if her dresses exactly like in area the young lady was in and stays in hotel today taht she was in decades before and thiks back to that time he will be there.
He goes there day before he saw where he had checked in he checks in the next day. He meets Janes character but some other guy jealous of their friendship so they sneek around to be together. They fall in love he gives her watch he got (explqained earlier in answer) they are happy but then one day when they are eating in hoterl room he sees a coin from the 1980's gets freaked and kinda dies in 30's and is back in 80's he doesn't leave his room or eat and is found dead 3 days later. Janes Character in 30's due to departure of love is heartbroken never loves again and gives up her career on stage.
In the end we see them both young reuniting in heaven very moving and tear jerking film one of my favourites Jane makes the movie.

I first thought maybe "Somewhere in Time" too, but that movie is not about her experiencing a past life, nor is there any noteable occurance of Irish people.
Was it a "made-for-TV" movie?
