Depends on how much you drink,if it was a heavy session 48 hours,to be safe,as it can still be in your blood stream the next day,so not a good idea if you are driving!!!

YEP a unit per hour. So if you drink 8 units over the evening, it will be 8 hours after your LAST drink when you are clear.
A unit is surprisingly small, though.

1 hour per unit e.g. A normal glass of wine contains two units, so it would therefore take 2 hours for the alcohol to be absorbed.

hay i believe alcohol was foe inhaling not drinking the stuffs no good so please i beg everyone don't drink smoke a little weed instead and legalize that!
you can't OD off this weed stuff! i am speaking of marijuana and don't you wonder how and why cigarettes are legal with its friend alcohol when cocaine and marijuana's is illegal now who would trust the manufacture for the 500 ingredients in a cigarette and the effects of alcohol
hay cocaine is cut with maybe 3 ingredients and marijuana maybe 4 so go figure!

24 hrs i believe - but ive heard if you drink 1 pint of water before going out on a large drink up and 1 pint when yah get back this helps remove traces of drinking and stops hangover.
