I've said it to her but she got so upset that this other person said what they did and went over to there house and gripped them out. And also told them that i was the one that said it so now I'm a crap starter!!! I really thought that she would think that it was as funny as I did. Why is it funny when I say it but not when someone else says it? And is she in highschool???The way she acts sometimes I wonder.

Could be that your friend had already hear what others had said through the grapevine, but when you (her good friend) brought the matter up again, she decided to finally take action to diffuse the situation by confronting the original rumormongers and also used you as a reference - likely her intention was to clear up the situation once and for all and try to get past it.
