Not at all - I have several ovarian cysts and have 2 beautiful boys. Have your doctor keep an eye on them though, sometimes if they get large enough they should be removed.

should not. However i have pcos poly cystic ovarian syndrome i have 10 or more small cyst on each ovary and due to that i stopped ovulation stopped having periods. We have a 8.5 AND 10.5 YEAR OLD BORN BEFORE i had those problems. We had to do fertility treatment to get #3 I miscarried that baby in 2002. WE JUST NOW got pregnant by surprise no treatments i really though it would never happen. If you jut have one cyst your other ovary is fine you should still be able to have as many kids as you want. Just ask your doctor only they know your individual issues.

I have a dermoid cyst on my right ovary and I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant. Yes, you can still get pregnant while having this cyst. But, it you know for sure that you're not pregnant, you may want to remove it now. The pain will become severe as it gets bigger. As for me, my gynecologist told me that pregnancy gave me this cyst and there's nothing I can do about it until the baby comes out. I've been holding this pain in for 8 months now. As the baby gets bigger, he/she will give you more pain. My baby is almost due and I'll have to go back for surgery to remove it after I recover from natural birth.

no I had one when I was preggo with my daughter, it was explained to me at the time by the doc that the cysts start where the egg was released from the ovary. But with everything I would be careful and have you doctor do follow up ultra sounds to make sure the cysts dissolve, or further actions may be required

most women develop an ovarian cyst at one time or another during their reproductive years. they are very common, and usually harmless. the vast majority of them are called "functional cysts" go away on their own within a few months, and many women probably don't even know they have them. sometimes doctors prescribe birth control pills to help get rid of one.
your doctor should probably keep an eye on it using a transvaginal ultrasounds every once in a while to make sure it resolves and doesn't get too large, etc.
this should not effect your fertility. i had one and it went away after several months. i am now pregnant.

I have had a cyst on my ovarires. Mine go away on my own.But sometimes they will need to be removed.I have the chance of them coming back every month during my period. No it won't affect your chances of haveing kids.I have a 10 month old daughter and am 22 weeks pregnant.

I have cysts on my ovaries and usually there is no problem with them. I have had ones that burst and that can be very painful. I also had one the had to be surgical removed because it had damaged part of the ovaries it was on but I still went on to have kids after that. I think it really depends on how many you have and where you have them. I have a friend that has them all over her ovaries and it is nearly impossible for her to conceive.

I had one, the result of an IUD altering my hormones. My gynecologist said they're usually harmless and that even combined with long term use of hormonal IUD I would have no problem getting pregnant if I wanted to.
