I have often wondered that myself. Discrimination I say.

I have no clue what you mean- If a woman is funny i view her as funny.
Now sometimes people, not just women try to act funny, but they really seem more silly, or weird than funny. Then I would give them a weird look.
I've never noticed a woman being treated different from a man because she acted goofy. There are many other times when men and women are treated differently, but i guess what you are referring to never happens in my town. Sorry.

My husband has remarked that I can be a ditz, and while he doesn't appreciate it all the times, otheretimes he thinks it's refreshing as hell. We've been together 56 years so my 'goofy' has been working all right, my weird is okay , my obnoxious is intact and my ditz still works!
As for for what other people think of me, they can take a flying flip at a rolling donut.

I like goofy women. It's the "normal" people I worry about.

Its strange because women, I feel, are held to a higher standard. People expect more from us because we're always saying we want more. So if we start acting like that, its a sign of immaturity and irresponsibility. Im not saying its fair but its how it is.
