My husband and I are trying to conceive ,we had intercourse on what we think is one of my fertile days. We had intercourse in the position known as doggy style thinking it would help more, when he came and ejaculated I did not have any sperm drip out as usual so I immediatel layed flat for about half an hour which then we had company over and as I got up to put my clothes on I felt a liquid come out of me it did not look like sperm it was clear like water and it was not urine. Do you think I have less chances of having achieved concepcion because this liquid whatever it was came out of me? Some advise please, thanks..

As soon as the man ejaculates the sperm are automatically released and know exactly where to go. It's a myth that you must do it missionary style. As a matter of fact my doctor said doggy style is actually better because it places the sperm closer to the uterus. Sperm do not leak out. It's the ejaculation that leaks out. Most of the time the ejaculate is grayish white and creamy but once it hits the air it starts to break down after about 30 minutes so then it would be kind of clearer and runny. The color of the liquid that runs out is not nearly as important as when it goes in. And just because its clear coming out does not decrease your chances of conceiving.

there are so many sperm, and you only need one. It's perfectly normal even when you conceive to have ejaculate run out. It does sometimes take time for this to occur, and it is sometimes clear. Sometimes the liquid that comes out of you is a mixture of your own fluids and his.
Sometimes style of intercourse does affect conception, but it's really not that critical.

I think you will be fine. The liquid couldnt just "stay" in there. Gravity was working against it. I think the 30 minutes was plenty of time to allow the sperm to get a head start of where they need to go.

Good luck.

Thats normal and fine even if it was sperm. Remember it only takes one littel swimmer. You did it all right so you are fine. Just remember even if you dont get pregnant to keep trying. Good luck!

You need to ask a doctor these questions. This question, phrased as it is, is not suitable to ask here.
