Notting Hill with Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. It's still about the sweetest romantic movie I've ever seen. Message In A Bottle with Kevin Costner and Robin Wright-Penn. A Walk To Remember with Mandy Moore and Shane West.

The most "Romanic" film I've ever seen was "Bram Stoker's Dracula", as the scenes set in Transylvania were largely shot on location. (sorry, can't help the way I respond to spelling errors, but I blame it all on being raised by intellectuals)
The most ROMANTIC film I've ever seen is still, all these years later, Casablanca. That may not be what you're looking for, but true romance is about much more than intimacy.

As far as romantic movies go it would have to be the notebook.. I can't think of any movies that compare to it... There's obviously other romances.. Titanic, Where the Heart I, Love and Basket Ball.... etc.. that are all good.. but nothing compares to the Notebook Good luck in your search though

I have to say "The Way We Were." At the end of the movie, Streisand meets Redford again on a busy street in New York sometime after they had divorced. They talk about their daughter for a bit and then she brushes his hair off his forehead, he grabs her hand and pulls her to him in an embrace. The look on their faces was like a knife in the heart. You could see that they were still very much in love but just couldn't make it work. He looks at her and says "see ya Katie" and she replies, "see ya Hubble." Now that's a tear jerker romance!

Romance on the Orient Express (Ruby Wax had a part, but she wasn't the lead) Made by Hallmark and watched it on Living channel on sky a couple of years ago. Haven't found a more romantic film.
