Maybe I was tired or something, but I thought it was a lot of activity without much real story. I don't feel connected to any of the characters and don't really care what, if anything, happened to them.

mei-lin: Well, I thought it was pretty obvious that the teenage girl was lying about not being able to remember. For whatever reason, she identifies with the robber and wants to protect him.

I hope it gets better. The first episode was like watching the first and last 15 minutes of a movie. All the introduction and denouement without any of the exciting stuff. There are a couple of intriguing characters, but the writers are going to have to give me more if they expect me to stick with it week after week.

I watched it, and really enjoyed it. I have to say I liked the first half more, and hope that the momentum of the first half can be kept up. I am intrigued about what happened in the bank and the connections the nine may have had before the robbery, and after. I found a good site on the show at http://www.FidelityRepublic.com/ . They have a lot of news on the show and a directory of sites on it.

I thought it was quite intriguing. Perhaps the reason you don't feel drawn to the characters is that you don't really know them yet. I am interested to find out what happened to the young girl in those 52 hours - she can't remember, but obviously something did. What did the police do or not do that has Tim Daly all in a twist. The guy who was going to commit suicide brought a gun into the bank, hid it in the toilet and the sleeve of his shirt was blue with toilet water, but he wasn't wearing his shirt when they let him go. Why? Is he in on the whole plot?

Yea I did actually. At first I thought they were going to show a lot more but I like the idea of them showing bits and pieces and seeing how these 9 people were affected. Its definately a different show so I'll be watching it. Maybe once they show a lil bit more we will be able to connect more.. there's only been one episode so far after all.

Really enjoyed it. It's one of those series that if you miss the first night your lost. The whole series is going to based around that one event. They never really showed what really happen in the bank. As the weeks go on, they will focus on the 9 victims and they will start detailing out the events that took place. Stick with it. I think it will be interesting.
