Was anyone else out there sad when they cancelled this show? I thought it had a very strong following. Now, I'll forever wish for a movie or a remake. sigh. What was your favourite episode?

The Leap Home, both parts 1 and 2, is my favorite episode of all time. It is the one where Sam is able to see his family and the home he grew up in once more. While he is there, he attempts to change the fates of his young sister, who marries into a violent marriage, his father, who dies from the effects of smoking, and his brother Tom, who goes to Vietnam and gets killed. In part 2, Sam leaps into a buddy from Tom's unit and ends up saving Tom's life. Sam also discovers that Al was a POW about the same time. This discovery was made while Sam looks through the photographs of a lady reporter, who's thirst for a Pulitzer prize, gets her killed. Al tells Sam that she won the prize for her final photograph, which was a picture of a young Al being captured along side other soldiers. The saddest part is when Sam sings "Imagine" by John Lennon to his little sister and it makes her cry.

Yeah, I would have to definitely agree that my favorite episode was the "Leap Home" He couldn't save Dean Stockwell's character and the female photographer passed away by triggering a bomb.
What a shame that they took it off the air.

in accordance to the sequence Sam never leaped homestead, he had the prospect at AL's bar yet gave it as much as reunite the"genuine" Al together with his spouse Beth. The door replaced into left huge open for the sequence to return, the two on television or in a movie, yet this never exceeded off and we've been cheated of a suitable ending replaced into (barman) Al god? Who is familiar with?

Addicted to it. My favourite episodes were where Sam leaped into himself as a boy back in Indiana and then into Magic and saved his brothers life in Vietman.

Yes, I loved that show. My favorite episode was when Scott Bakula was a member of the mob and his girlfriend caught him cheating. That's about all I rember of it though. It's been a very long time since I've seen it.

I never caught it until years later, on video. great show!

I love the two parter, "the leap home," where he leaps into his younger self, and tries to save his family, and the 2nd part, where he saves his brother in Nam, but fails to save Dean Stockwell's character from becoming a POW.

I wish they could have at least had a 2 hr. tv movie to finish the show. My favorite was the one when Al was trying to sway Sam from his mission and instead brake up Al s first wife and the guy she eventually marries when she thinks he's dead. When he dances with her to "what a wonderful world", it still chokes me up every time I see it
