So, Maybe there is somebody out there who can confirm that the agony I've been in is casued by my wisdom teeth coming in. At first it was my eyesight. My peripheral vision would fade to black and i would only be able to see in the front of my eyes, but nothing on the sides. Then, afterwards I would get these tremendous headaches. Now, the headache has persisted for the last week with and without the loss of vision. So, what's up? Has anyone actually had this problem and was told it was because of their wisdom teeth? Or do I actually have some kind of retinis pigmentosa?(a kind of degeneration in the peripheral).

I have had my wisdom teeth out. The only discomfort that I experienced was the extraction itself. Well not exactly the extraction, 'cause the doctor put me under, but I was home sucking liquids through a straw to eat for a couple of days or so.
Unable to go to work 'cause I need to drive, & I was on painkillers.
What you describe sounds like it needs immediate attention, whether the cause is wisdom teeth or whatever. I would start with my family doctor, & have him run some tests. If he thinks it's a job for a dentist then so be it.
My wife, myself, both my parents, & an uncle of mine have all had wisdom teeth removed, & I have never heard of symtoms like the ones you described associated with wisdom teeth.
There's one more thing for me to add. Everyone I know, took their dentists advice & had their wisdom teeth removed when the dentist told them without delay. So my experiences with wisdom teeth may be different from someone who may be putting off having them extracted until after complications set in. I hope that if you have been advised by your dentist to have your wisdom teeth extracted that you haven't put it off for too long.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled as a teen and all 4 teeth were impacted (under the gum). The issue with wisdom teeth is that they sometimes grow, and grow forward. My wisdom teeth were doing this and pushing on my teeth, which were newly straightened by very expensive braces. So this was in fact helping my teeth from going crooked. The surgery was quick and I remembered nothing. I quickly learned what I could eat and drank many liquids and therefore had a very fast recovery.

Wisdom teeth coming in would not cause you to have problems with your eyes. I think you need to make an appointment to see a doctor. All four of my wisdom teeth came in at the same time so I had all four removed. I never had any problems with my eyes. I would get a headache but that was just because of the pain from my teeth.

Go to a dentist if you think it is your teeth causing the problem. I had 2 of the 4 wisdom teeth impacted and they had to be surgically removed. My cheeks had to be stitched down over the gums until they healed. Yours could go a lot worse if you let them go too long.
If it isn't your wisdom teeth, you need to see a regular doctor. There are many things that can cause what you have and many of them are very serious. If you wait too long before getting help, it could make things much harder to cure.
Don't wait any longer. Get yourself checked out by a medical professional soon.

Well..I got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out a couple pf years ago...The reason was because...they were causing a infection in my jaw...The left side of my jaw was swollen...and hurt...every time I would talk..or touch it...so out came the wisdom teeth...it was the best thing I ever did...I lost a couple of pounds..and I was off from school for 3 weeks...because after the teeth were pulled out..I got another infection in my gums..only on one side though
:)

wisdom teeth hurt like a biatch and if theyve been coming in for awhile or fast then i can see why you'd be getting headahces and loss of vision - i would get intense headaches and had four of them pulled at once, my mouth was all swollen for a week and i didnt even get to enjoy the oxycodine i was on cause it just levelled out the pain....You need to get an appointment asap to get them pulled

I would rather have someone stick a pencil in mye eye and twist than ever have a toothache or another wisdom tooth again! It is most likely your teeth, but do yourself a favor and see a dentist immediately to confirm this. If it is something else you need to know and see your doc. Good luck.

It sounds to me like you are suffering from migraines. Pain from your wisdom teeth should not cause you to have vision problems. At least I was never told anything like that. I had to have my wisdom teeth pulled AND I suffer from migraines. One has nothing to do with the other.

GO TO THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY. It could be glaucoma which is a desease of the eye that can make you blind if left untreated.
I did a paper on this desease b/c I have it and you have these symptoms. The loss of side vision is first and can happen immediately or over time. Google for glaucoma and you will find out more info. Good Luck.
