I lived in Alaska once and there was a town out in the Aleutian Islands and it was like twin peaks. Mountains and all.
There was a Girl there that was just like Laura Palmer.
It was like living in a different world... very odd, very surreal...
...I went crazy and they found me in Idaho years later.
I am fine now, don't know what happened, don't know if it was a dream.
It was very weird.
SO to answer your question.
YES... there are real TWIN PEAKS.
I am not joking. It still freaks me out a little to think about it because it is more like a dream than a memory.
