Are you talking about a upset stomach going to the bathroom. It upsets some peoples stomach. That's why they have coffee of people with sensitive stomachs. I can drink one cup in the morning then I have to eat before I have a 2nd. If you are talking about pee-ing it's got caffeine in it.

Specifically because caffeine is a diuretic. Which means that it squeezes the liquids out of your body more than noncaffeinated drinks do. Some people seem to also get the effect from decaffeinated coffee/drinks... I think that's partially the Pavlovian effect of the coffee and partially because decaff coffee still has some caffeine in it, just a lot less than regular.

Coffee is a diuretic. It elevates the rate of bodily urine excretion (diuresis). It's not that coffee, but the caffeine - cranberry juice & alcohol both have the same effect.

I think it might have to do with the caffeine in it. I drink a lot of pop and that makes you have to pee too. It could also have to do with the fact that coffee is mostly made up of water.
