Go visit your friends, read a good book, go to the gym, plan a romantic weekend for when he gets back, paint the living room, take a bubble bath, chat with family members, write out your Christmas cards early, get started on Christmas shopping or Thanksgiving dinner plans, write a short story to submit for publication, take a part time job, clean out closets, cook meals to put in the freezer for nights you don't feel like cooking when he gets back, etc. My husband travels on business all the time. I've never been bored yet. Take advantage of the time alone and get busy.

Try to take advantage and get things done that you can't do the way you want to when he's home, like clean out the garage. Seriously take the time and reevaluate you lives together. See how much you miss him and plan something special for when he comes home. He should be doing the same thing. Our spouses are like everything else we take them for granted all too often. Take advantage of the time apart and let it help you remember why you fell in love to begin with.

You watch all the dvds that he doesn't want to see (invite a girlfriend over).
I like to take that time to redecorate a room...This just means getting a painting project out of the way. I don't have to be too concerned about getting the "mess" put away or having dinner ready by a certain time. It also gives me time to work on scrapbooks, same reason as the painting job. ; )
Do you have children yet (or still at home)? I still have two at home and try to have one night out with them.

Enjoy the free space. Try making plans with your girlfriends. Do things that interest you that sometimes you feel you don't have time for with the hubby around.
Then spend the day before he gets back and plan a real romantic evening . Suprise him with your sexy thoughts and needs!

That's the time to eat your favorite foods that he doesn't care for. liver, salmon, butter beans, whatever. Also spend some quality time with some girlfriends to keep your friendships strong. Take some quiet time just for yourself, to think or read or just experience aloneness.

Miss him. do something to give him some surprise, so that your relation will became more strong and definitly he will love you more than he loves now. Try to do something for him, what he likes and try to collect all those oldies you shared with him.
