Ok, it started when my wife was watching the show, and then, of course, I started watching. However, I find the main character very very annoying. She doesn't get away with acting cutesy or stupid at times, or play off being someone who would be as sexually open as she tries to portray. I actually root for the men she meets to dump her, break her heart, or mentally anguish her. This I am woman, I am an important nature queen, pamper me I am a unique diamond, attitude is lame for any gender, youre not that special sweetie.

I just don't like her face. she has an annoying lisp and just bugs the hell out of me. I think Izzie would have been a much better main character. In fact if Meredith just leaves the show it would be such an improvement. Her whole love triangle has been done so many times before its getting boring and please like we don't know she's going to pick McDreamy. the other guy is a guest star...guests leave after awhile. Dammit people need to stick to Crossing Jordan, that show has everything, love, drama, humor and much more and better writing and story lines.

Grey's Anatomy is my favorite show, but I have to agree with you. Have you noticed that she rarely works? All of the other doctors are off saving lives, but she is just creating more and more sexual tension between her and Derrick... and for what, she DIDN'T have any intention of being with him again until a few weeks ago. She had an affair with a married man (yes, I understand that she didn't know at first, but she's "dating" him now after she knows that he lies.) who will leave her for someone else a while down the road.... does she see that, no.

I love Gray's Anatomy but I agree I sometimes can't stand Meredith. Its like she is playing this lil damsel in distress and all that's important to her is her relationship. And whoever says she doesn't do any work, its kinda true. I never looked at it that way. And it also gets on my nerves that she's just following Derrick like she's some puppy dog. Its like dude is still married. Who care its estranged. She sits and watch Addison crying in the closet and she's like whatever I don't care if I'm hurting someone. And who cares if Addison cheated first.. Derrick could had divorced her but he was supposedly "trying" to make it work. Sigh

She pisses me off too. Very annoying, complains all the time, can't make up her mind. I also root for the dudes to dump her. The only redeeming quality of that show was when that guy nailed that lady in the bathroom two episodes ago, he's pretty cool. The asian lady, blah. She sickens me also. Good question.

I don't like her either. She's quick to sleep around, not really that attractive, and her latest "dating" thing is just stupid!
