How do you contact a toy company and present your idea for a new toy, and what if you don't have a lot of money to have prototypes made?

Hate to say this, but most companies won't even look at your idea - they have policies specifying that they won't even review them. It's a legalistic thing so that, if they come out with a similar toy in the future, you can't claim that they stole it from you.
