if it is heads up i do but if it is heads down i flip it over so the next person to pick it up has good luck

Good, leave them there for me. Of course I pick up a cent. (It is a cent, a penny is an English coin that is now obsolete). 5 of them make a nickel. Of course it's much nicer to find a quarter in the coin return.

I do because I was told it could be someone that you know that died & that is their way of communicating with you. When you pick it up you are suppose to look at the date & supposedly the year that is on the penny is when something significant happened in your life. I always find pennies that have 1995 on them. That's when my son was born.

Always. All coins. Go home put in it a jar. After about 2 1/2 years I had $388 I otherwise would not have had.
