To cover the other lies, and the other lies, and the other lies, continued ad nauseam.

Indeed, both Bush and Condi have lied on multiple occasion.

However, they have been trained in how to spin the truth by just slipping by it. Using excuses like "I don't recall" as an excuse for mistruths.

Clinton did it too, btw.

However, the extent of the lies to the American people in this administration goes into treasonous acts on multiple fronts, including perjury. Given the current political environment is a Congress with primarily Republican representation, holding this administration accountable won't happen.

And yes, Bush has lied. It's easily referenced in black and white. Time and time again.

Twice elected President Bush doesn't lie. Neither does the accomplished and talented Secretary of State Dr. Rice.

I'd ask you to actually point out a lie they have told, with actual verified proof that they had lied [something undeniable like DNA on a blue dress, for example], but I already know that you have no proof, just a gut full of bile, and a head full of leftist lies.

It's just such rhetoric and bile that will prevent a Democrat victory anytime soon. People tire of such distortions and fabrications.
-------
knoxy - you betray a level of ignorance if you think the approval ratings mean that Bush is a liar - the two have no correlation. There are many reasons for low approval - perhaps you have evidence or data that shows this is the reason? I doubt it.

And there are no 'droves' leaving the GOP. I would ask for proof, but know that you people are fact-adverse.

And why is it partisan to ask for proof of an accusation? Real proof, like the proof you people have NEVER provided? That's why I'm partisan - because you people are truth-adverse.

they're politicians.

i say once politicians start paying taxes also maybe they'll keep their yaps shut more often.

they have to prove themselves ever so often all because of where the money comes from.. and if they betray us.. the fear of their bosses firing them is still at least. a pipe dream... of sorts.

i don't know why us the bosses (taxpayers) are putting up with this so often ourselves.

they're working for us... and why they have no respect or reguard just shows how mentally challenged they are.. along with rumsfeld, cheney... OH the whole batch.

i think it's silly when we are told we can't keep things secret then suddenly if a politician is caught being a humanfreakingbeing... their rights are to be safe kept and private?

huh?

oh and we better not break the law in any essense from child abuse, theft... pot smoking.... to not paying our taxes.... but here they are.. doing the same thing but they have excuses... but with OUR money.

it's sad.. i don't know why they lie other than they're corrupt, forgot where the real power is and have no respect for their community that they're suppose to be servicing.

it's like brats given too much allowance and candy and if they act up... mommy and daddy will just have to deal with it and they better not stop forking out the goodies or they'll do something drastic like get them thrown in jail for 'child abuse'.

it's crazy....

we should be in civil war ourselves......

but we try real hard to remain civilized people.. yes americans can be that...

but our politicians seem to miss completely that concept of civility.

Please offer one concrete piece of proof Bush or Condi lied. (Not your opinion). Hard evidence--like DNA perhaps. Libs are screaming that Bush is lying yet they have no proof that he is. Do you have a copy of a memo with Bush or Condi's signature on it proving something they're orally contradicting? Please enlighten us. Perhaps that is why NO ONE can answer my question regarding Bush's "illegal" war after 5 days. There is NO evidence proving any lie.

Because the truth would reveal them for the vacuous morons that they truely are. I can't believe that either
of them are college graduates! And I cringe that they represent the USA to the world!

Because if they told the truth, they'd be kicked out of office. Or worse, it could lead to a revolt! But people are finding it easier and easier to believe the lies that come out of Washington. It paints a very dark future for our country.

I didn't know that Bush Condi'ed a lot but I'll take your word for it.

In political circles, telling half truths is not considered lying. I think that is their rational.

For the simple fact that is what they are based on. Once you start building on lies you cannot stop telling them or else your story will unravel and everyone would see what a POS they are.
