If you don't want to poison or use glue traps, you can get one of those traps with a spring loaded door. Rat goes in, can't get out. Then you can release it somewhere else. (Got any neighbors you don't like? heehee) Me, I'd call an exterminator. One interesting and disgusting rat fact I've heard, rats are incontinent. They just piss everywhere all the time. Gross!!! No matter what, rat must get lost!

Whats a rat gonna hurt? Now if he starts getting into things and chewing then set out some poisen or traps.

I'm dealing with mice, best thing I've found is the glue traps. They make them for rats as well.

DONT USE GLUE TRAPS! thats just mean. if u want to kill it, then use the rodent poison. But please dont use glue traps.. it is just very inhumane!
