It's called a Vaginal Prolapse or Uterine Prolase what happens is when your vaginal muscle receives to much wear (mainly from child birth) or pressure they become weak and fall or slip out of place and fall downward (gravity) but the have slings and things to lift them back into place. To help in the prevention of this you can do kegals to strengthen your vaginal wall muscles. The part about lifting would have to be over a long length of time

A myth....no a womans womb will not dropped just from lifting heavy objects...if that where the case they would drop their wombs everytime they carried a baby! Think about it!! There are situations that can cause a womans womb to tilt slightly, but it cannot drop. Trust me, I lifted heavy things while pregnant... I carried 4 babies in mine and didnt drop not a one!:) Of course, it is wise to not lift heavy things while pregnant because it can cause other problems...

Yeah i heard that too.Too much heavy lifting will surely affect your womb and if you've recently had a delivery then it might pop out even.I think so.

Its called a prolapse and its usually after giving birth the muscles in the cervix are weak,Ive seen a lady who's hung right down outside her body and it looked like a small oval purple ball about6 inches round but when she sat down it would pop back up,it was gross you can get an operation for it and they sometimes put a stitch in your cervix to hold it up.

Repeated heavy lifting, especially if done improperly, can cause uterine prolapse. By the way, tt's okay to call it a uterus. With prolapse of the uterus, the cervix can be seen in the vagina and with 3rd degree prolapse, the cervix protrudes outside the vagina.
