My brother-in-law has a boost mobile phone and he has no complaints about it other than no reception in some areas.

My husband uses boost. Nice and cheap, and he loves his phone. You can check all your activity & spending on the net, too.
I like it a lot, just that they market to urban youth, of which I am not a member. Their marketing tries to be immature and uneducated, which is an insult to me. Beyond that, the phone and service are great!
