With soap and water? Is it so clean you could eat out of it? Or don't you care enough to do that?

Since my bf puts his foot up on it to tie his shoes, cleaning the garbage can is HIS job, but occasionally I take it outside and hose it down and put dish soap in it.

Not necessarily, but throw in some pine-sol and hot water and let it sit for like an hour. That's my method

No ... I usually line it with a plastic trash bag. It is pretty clean.

No, we just pour bleach in it and but a new one once a month. Man, you should see the toilet!!!

i wash mine out with pine sol. i don't do it all the time so no i would not eat out of it.
