Have you ever met a celebrity that once was hot and very popular, but whose popularity had long since faded? How did you feel about them after meeting them? Were they down to earth or did the meeting dissapoint you and change your perception of them?

I met Telly Savales in 1994, and he was . . . pretty dull, actually - I was working in a casino at the time, and sold him $2000 worth of chips for the Poker tournement he was participating in. Backtrack - this was the first guy whose movie character scared the heII out of me as a kid (Corporal Maggot from The Dirty Dozen - I'd never heard of psychopaths before then), and to see the author of childhood nightmares being so - well, same-sized-as-life was kind of disappointing - no real charisma present, no Kojak charm, just a paunchy middle-ager at the right-hand end of a Poker table.

definite. i'm a former recording engineer. I truly have met, talked to, shaken fingers with, and been interior a similar room with many celebrities. The very nicest ones that I truly have met, include, Paul McCartney, Steven Tyler, and Alice Cooper.

No, all the celebrities I've met were still enjoying their fame. They were all still very nice though.
