It depends on you definition of good or bad. I have one for work and personally it is great. It is tied in to my work email exchange server, so I can receive and send email right away as well as update my calendar and notes. I can also view attachements, although they are read only. What I don't like is that I cannot modify attachements. For that a cell with Windows CE would be good. Another bad thing is that it is tough to get yourself away from checking work email after office hours, it can be addicting. Thats why they also call it the Crack-berry.

Had a blackberry for 2 years aqnd got addicted. It also is large and annoying to carry around. Once I got rid of it I realized all the fun I was missing but not paying attention. Personally a waste of time.
My brother in law has one and has had it for 3 years. He is always left out of the fun when family get together. He is always off by himself playing with the stupid thing.
Get a life not a blackberry

I prefer Windows Pocket PCs...they have much more versatility than a blackberry..however that means that they can be that much more addicting!
I have a Cingular 8125 PPC and I love it since it essentially replaced a laptop for me...it is a little bulky but smaller than a laptop.

Good if you are on the go. Bad if you let it consume your life and always leave it on.
