is that in ireland? i live in ireland all school uniforms are ugly. i think they make em ugly cuz the schools were run by the church yrs ago and the nuns and preistswanted to make us look ugly because lust was a sin in them days

No idea, but my old school uniform was brown, cream with gold ties for the boys.
I heard that it was to do with the Great Western Railway's livery colours. The headmaster at the time was a train enthusiast.

Because its a passive way of torturing you-they can't beat you anymore-so they make you wear sick uniforms(mine was bottle green-gack!!)

because school is dull so the niform has to look dull.mind you it could be worse.i know some one who had to wear dark green and green+red check skirts.

erm try ribena purple dude. them you know what embarisment is. i think it's in the constitution that school pupils have to look like wolley's.

because those are the colors they chose back when the school was still young and being setup.
