I am paying child support for two of my children. If one comes amd stay with me, then I don't pay child support any more? Because, she has one, I have the other. Or depends on our salary?

You are paying for two of the children because that is the court order says. You will still need to pat her for the child living with you. Because as stated if she got a hair up her tail, she could pursue you for the unpaid "back" child shupport. You will need to go back to court and file a petition amending the childsupport (well your lawyer will do this, but you have to get one and talk to them 1st!) Please always, always keep proof of what you have paid. When it is amended it will depend on your salary, and any other conditions surrounding th child (will you have to pay to travel to see the child that is with the mother? Age if child? Special needs? ect.)
Above all file that petition ASAP - it's not fair that she gets the money while you are really supporting the child, but the laws funny like that. So get it amended!

Don't assume that will be the case. It does go by salary, and the judge can still order either of you to pay support to the other for the remaining child.

Still depends on salary.... You have to go into court and request both modification of support and modification of custody. Be cautious though. Most Judges will not separate siblings.... and they will not condone those that do.... It is not in the best interest of the minor children.

You will still have to pay child support until you go back to court and get it modified. It may still depend on your salary difference

Your best bet would be to consult your attorney with this scenario. I could go either way depending on a number of factors. Child age, salary, etc. Wish I could have been more help!

I understand where you are coming from but child support is court-ordered, and if she feels like it, she can fight you on unpaid child-support. And more than likely win...so I would go to the attorney generals office and ask them for paperwork stating you are only paying for one child in that household.

It depends on both salaries and the sate you live in and what our agreement is and who has physical custody....each state is different...talk to somebody in your local office for correct answers please...people online will tell you things that they have no clue about just to sound like they know something.

It completely depends on your salary and expenses. You need to check with a lawyer to see what the laws are in your area.

You only have to pay child support for the children your spouse has sole legal custody of.

You would probably have to support the child that is living with the mom. It will be reduced, but you will still have to support the child.
