I met two of my ex-boyfriends online, one at www.faceparty.com and the other over mIRC. The boyfriend I am dating now... I liked with this other guy, Thomas, but my "friend" told him that I was stalking him, and so he started avoiding me for a week. At the end of the week before we resolved the issue, I was really upset and my friend Lana dragged me to hear some comedy and live music. There I was, sitting on a mattress at the back of the place watching everything and Grant walked in. Lana knew him, so she introduced me. He went and sat on the floor but then started complaining that I was sitting on the mattress, so I moved up for him. Thereafter he offered me a smoke and even though I had quit like a month before, I took it (burnt his finger by mistake). Then we started talking and before long we were kissing. I never expected it to be a relationship because the last random that I had kissed turned out to be an asshole. He put his number in my phone and the next day he phoned and wanted to know what I was doing. Thereafter, things really worked out very very well! Now we have been together for almost 7 months. It doesn't feel like it though. It seems like yesterday that I was still after Thomas. Grant is great though. You could not ask for a better boyfriend!

My long term bf of many yrs decided to dump me right before New Years. I was depressed and sulking because I was still living with him even though we were broken up.. because I had no where to go. Our room mate threw a New Years party and my husband, Tim, was there. That was the 1st time I met him. We talked for hrs about nonsence. We stayed friends for a good six months before I realized he was crushing on me then we started to go out and got married two yrs after that.

In most cases, I was doing something that I liked to do... going to an event, organizing something I believed in, volunteering, etc. My best relationships were with the guys I met who were doing the things I also liked to do.

I even married one! We ended up working together on a long-term project (not at work, I might add), and really got to know each other.
