no, you don't, the sales tax is collected when they go to register it at the dmv office,,its that way in all of the states good luck i hope this help,s.

No, the buyer pays the tax when they register the car to get the license plates. You must however provide a signed bill of sale AND transfer the title.

The seller pays income tax on the sale. It is the buyer who pays sales tax.
