Many Christians accept evolution. There are also other alternatives. It isn't an "either/or" choice.

At any rate, the scientific evidence for evolution is overwhelming. That doesn't mean Christianity is "wrong", just things like Young Earth Creationism.

You have to admit Darwin has a lot of supporting evidence to his theory that we all evolved from a single cell. But were did the first cell come from? Read the link below with an open mind and make the decision for yourself.

I always sit on the fence with this question - i believe they are both right - God may have invented heaven and earth and all that but he did it with evolution (the way Darwin worked out) Well.. he had to do it some how didnt he?!

Decide for yourself.
Apply critical reasoning.
Remember that not all Creationism falls under the mantle taken up by biblical literalists and that they are not the only Christians.

Who's to say they aren't both right? We don't know God's timing and he certainly didn't outline the recipe, so I would limit God to being able to use evolution if that's what he chose to do. Proving evolution won't discount my religion. However, evolution has not been proven yet.

I think any Christian with half a brain (a few do exist) would be able to reconcile the fact if we can understand evolution, an all powerful being would be able to make it happen.
