In The Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry sees Sirius as the black dog walking across the grounds late at night with crookshanks but crookshank's character and the relationship between Sirius and Crookshanks was never revisited in the next 3 books.

I've hear Rowling say on numerous occasions that alot of clues have been planted in the early books that will play a big role in the finale. This walk between Crookshanks and Sirius could well be a little clue planted for her amusement. I think we'll have to wait and see what she's brewing for the silly little cat.

I imagine that JK will have to revisit that relationship, because Crookshanks did help him a lot. However, I know that crookshanks is nothing but a cat. He's not an animangus.

regrettably, i'm rather content fabric with the present state of affairs of James and Lily Potter (and somewhat keen on the SiriusxRemus decrease-deliver) so i can not say that i've got ever examine something into the subtext of the Harry Potter books. in spite of if, it is to no longer say that they could no longer have been bi-sexual... <3
