Actually when I read this post, I initially thought you were referring to a whole library of books. In other words, how can you protect your collection in general?

It that's the case, it won't be very economical to buy storage boxes for all of them.

I'll be curious to see if anyone does know of a chemical.

acid in the air is causing the yellowing..

you need to store them in an acid proof box.. you can find them at michaels or some similar art supply..

Store in air tight bag or in one of those infomercials of AS SEEN ON TV tm!! where you put clothing in a back and make it airtight by sucking air out of it.

bleach them. It will get rid of that pesky ink too.
