If it's a firewall, you can't. It's a piece of equipment in another room that controls what traffic can go into/out of the school's network. So be happy and return to your homework :)

You can't access it. Plus you are being monitored by the School's IT department. Everything you click and type on that PC is logged and they know exactly what you are doing every second. You will get busted if you persist on trying to access sites that are blocked. Even if you use a proxy, they KNOW you are. You WILL get in trouble.
Myspace is blocked for a very good reason. It is a bordello for pedofiles.

Depending on how your school log-in system works, try logging in as the computer administaror.
From there, the computer shouldn't be connected to the LAN, and you should be able to change some settings, and then be able to do it.
If this doesn't work, then look for this japanese site, I cannot remember what it is called, but you type the URL of the site you want to access on it, and it's very slow, but it will take you to most sites.

Which Operating System you have at home? Do you have Internet connection at Home? If you have Window XP Pro at home and Internet, then you can connect your computer Remotely from campus, and u can go to my-space.com

search google (or yahoo ;-) for "myspace proxy" or "myspace bypass"
you'll find a ton sites that will allow you to bypass your schools security.
