I heard few details, and I'm not sure what made me think of it, what happened? Maybe you have a link or something. I know Kanye made a mean statement or something. Just wondering.

Disabuse yourself of the notion that Bush would spend any effort to 'squabble' with a low-rent gutter dweller like Kanye West. Nobody of any intelligence or merit pays attention to twit [c]rap "artists".

Kanye said that Bush hated blacks, during a benefit to raise money for Katrina victims. Obviously, he's not a mental giant.

It wasnt a mean statement it was a statement about how he felt he said on world television that "George Bush dont care about black People!" Everyone amazed by the statement even black people because it took some guts to say that. The actual statement was in reference to the lack of expenditure in the need to help the people of New Orleans. He felt that because most these individuals were black and poor that Bush felt they didnt matter. Im sure the situation just made him so angry he just blurted it out. Nothing really happened I dont believe bush responded but who knows what he thought. I think no one really knew what to think. It was a crazy unnecessary comment but it did raise eyebrows and people's awareness. Hope that helps

During the Katrina incident, all over the media you would see things like minority and middle class people collecting things to survive and it would say they were looting, but when rich people did it they were finding things. Because of things like this Kanye felt he had to take up for them.

He said "George Bush doesn't care about Black People".

Backed up and brought on by the administrations response to Katrina.

Kanye just exercised his rights as an American I know it was shocking to hear him say what he said, but he just expressed what a lot of people wanted to say but due to possible backlash, did not or would not dare.
