I had been seeing this guy for awhile, and things weren't going well in my life. My uncle and my best friends mom passed away in the same week, and I had college midterms. I was so stressed out and crying all the time. He called me one night after class and gave me directions to this place, somewhere I had never been. I followed the directions and it ended up being a park overlooking the city, but was far enough away that you could see the stars. He told me that he knew how stressed out I was and that the 2 of us were not leaving until I could go an hour without crying, we played on the swings and in the sand and then he just held me for awhile while we looked at the stars. We don't see each other any more but I will always remember how sweet he was that one night.

My boyfriend said he had a surprise for me. He handed me a needle and led me to the bedroom. When he opened the door there were over 100 balloons and red hearts hanging from the ceiling. Each balloon had some kind of little love note in it. I had to pop all the balloons and the last one that I popped had a ring in it that I had wanted for a while. Very sweet, very romantic.

Natalie; This is a great question!!! Thanks for asking it. The most romantic thing that happened to me was when my hubby(before we were married) left a blue bunny (stuffed animal) blue is the color of my birthstone and dozen red roses on my doorstep just to brighten my day . I opened the door in the morning and found it!!! He brightened my morning and I had a great day because I know that someone lovees me and cares about how I begin my day!!! He worked nights so...this means that he was very tired but still took time to bring that for me before he went home, is another reason it was special and this is why we are still married to this day. He is very thoughtful. THanks so much for asking this question.!!!:)

My boyfriend like 7 years ago fell to his knees in the middle of the street and just when I looked back it started raining. We were having an argument and I was mad and he was following me like a little lost puppy telling me over and over that he was sorry. Then that is when he fell to his knees and screamed for forgiveness! It was so romantic I forgave him and it was for something stupid.

I like your question. I'm feeling the same way. I was just thinking about which chick flick I was gonna watch after work. My best memory was a surprise visit at work with flowers for no reason at all.

I was on a very nice date with this pretty girl, but we were both too nervous to even hold hands. Then, as we were saying goodnight, she tripped on something a fell right into me. It turned into a loooong hug.

We've been married 20yrs.
