I really miss Friends. When it started in 1994, I was at the same place in my life that all those characters were. I lived in San Antonio, TX, and had just graduated from college. Me and a bunch of my friends from high school who had also graduated spent the summer hanging out at Java Joe's coffee house. It was this great place where you could get a great cup of cappucino, a good sandwich or croissant, and play Battleship or Uno, or a number of fun old board games they had sitting around.
Then when we heard that this show called Friends was coming out in September, and that it was based on a group of buddies who hung out at a coffee house, we thought "Hey, that's us!" The first season, we all watched it together every night, then we'd go to Java Joe's. By the second season, I went on to graduate school, and my friends (who I still keep in touch with) either got married or moved.
It was a great show, and one that I'll always remember and watch the reruns of.

I don`t know if this was from the 90`s or late 80`s but Hill Street Blues was mine but St Elsewhere comes a close second.
