It's because of the water droplet size in the cloud:

white clouds have very small droplets of water. The water droplets are so small that they diffract light so that they look white, and because the droplets are small enough to be suspended then it doesn't rain

Gray clouds have larger drop lets that block the light (rather than just diffracting it) so they look grey. The droplets are larger (because they have coalesced with each other) and are too large to be suspended, and they fall as rain

Black clouds have very large droplet and you get very wet.

Storm clouds are grey because when it's light you can see the world in light with white nice clouds but when it is stormy the clouds go and close the sun so theres no sunlight to make the clouds white and shine....... and starts raining

storm is any disturbed state of a planet's atmosphere, especially affecting its surface, and strongly implying severe weather. It may be marked by strong wind (a wind storm), thunder and lightning (a thunderstorm), heavy precipitation, such as ice (ice storm), or wind transporting some substance through the atmosphere (as in a dust storm, snowstorm, hailstorm, etc).

The storms clouds are grey because all the water coming to the floor so the clouds goes grey..... that's why it's called a storm

Because storm clouds are denser than normal clouds as they are so full of moisture the light cannot pass through them as easily as it can with normal clouds. As the light is not getting through the cloud looks grey/black

a cloud is made from water vapour in the atmosphere. When there is a lot of water vapour the clouds turn gray and it rains.

V
the rain that falls to earth gets evaporated - heat from the sun and air help evaporation.

V
the evaporated water (the vapour) turns into a cloud. the accumulation of water vapour will produce bigger, darker clouds

It will rain again

diffracting too much light, and are therefore in shadow - makes the side you see dark/grey...
