unfortunately being an avid football fan, yes I knew who Cannavaro was....

I've known and admired Cannavaro since he played for Parma and that was over 10 years ago!!

if you want the short story he started out playing for Napoli in about 92' then moved into Parma F.C and shortly after to Int. Milano F.C. after that in 04' he played with Juventus F.C and inally settled down this July with Real Madrid. He has to be the best player on the Ilatian national team. Great defender and awesome body.

Absolutely!!
Cannavaro and Nesta are one of the best defencive partnerships in the world.
It was such a shame that Nesta was injured and couldn't play in the final.

I knew him a little before the World Cup (he *is* admired by many), but I only knew much more about him after the tournament... especially after watching so many YouTube videos.

Yeah sure I like him since 1998.When he was still in Parma.I got to say he alwayse looked great.
