At 15 the best thing you can do is to increase your physical activity... watch what you eat, but mainly increase your physical activity......
Cut out 2-3 items that you KNOW are bad for you and when you feel that you've over come those cut out a few more... That along with your activity level should help you a lot...
Best of luck.....

first, losing weight too fast can be bad for you and leads to massive rebound effect. you want to focus on a consistent steady program you can do for life.
first thing I would do is make a list of all the things you eat in one day and try to cut out stuff that seems like an obvious indulgance, soda, snacks, second or third helpings.
second, think about your daily schedule and try to plan on adding one or two things that give you just a little bit more exercise than you did befoe. If you take a bus to school see if you can get off one stop earlier and walk the rest of the way, Or walking up one extra flight of steps instead of using an elevator, stuff like that.
I know these don't seem glamorous but changing the little things in your life will make it much easier to keep the weight off in the long run than trying some fad diet. Also, you will find that even with this little changes you will probably lose weight very fast in the first month or two anyway, just because of the changes in your metabolism.
the good news is that at 15 years old, your body is pumping so much testosterone that you can really achieve good results from stuff liek weight training or exercise. Even by 20 years old you would find it much harder to lose the weight than at 15.
Lastly, good luck! I Iwish you the best.

unfortunately there are no easy answers for weight lose. It depends on the individual.I myself was over 220 pounds and it took me over a year to take it down to 135.
The first thing you must do is want it more then anything. Just you, not family or friends, just you. Then start small.
Trying to change everything at once will be just to hard. With food, begin with learning to leave things on your plate. If you eat fast food, only eat half of the fries, and leave a bite or two of your burger. If it's a sugar thing, eat only half of the bar or only two cookies and throw out the rest. If your house hold is stock piled with bad food, you'll really need to have inner strength. Just don't deprive yourself, just cut back to start.
As far as exercise, just move. Truly, it's as easy as that. Start with a couple laps around your block . Then add another block, then another. Eventually add some hills, then some light weights. As you get stronger you can add in some strength moves like lunges and crunches.
As I said in the begin, it's all about what works best for you and your body. Be strong and patient. Long term weight loss takes time and commitment. You'll do great if you believe in yourself. GOOD LUCK.

if you're 15, you have a lot of time and fast metabolism. I was overweight then too. limit yourself to 3 meals a day and 2 snacks.
First meal is essential as it starts your metabolism going
try: Kix cereal with skim milk and 3 egg whites
any sugar free cereal will do
Second meal of the day:
A sandwich on whole wheat bread with a meat of your choice but no Mayo
third meal of the day
One Meat
One Carb serving(meaning a cup of rice, or a baked potato, or a roll)
and as many vegetables as you want
try to have 2 peices of fruit
stay away from soda and sugar drinks. drink at least 4 cups of water per day
best snack: Air popped pop corn(no butter or salt)
a lolly pop
gum
Granola bars if you're hungry but already ate all of your meals.
Tip: EAT VERY SLOWLY. Your body will always take 20 minutes to feel full. if you eat slowly you will feel full off of less food
Try to do 30 minute of cardio 3 days a week. Don't push yourself too hard.
I got myself a pediometer from radio shack to help me with my daily work out. on average a person should be walking 10,000 steps a day.

I have been overweight all my life. The best diet I have found to help lose weight and maintain a decent weight is the diabetic diet. It allows you to have carbs, but only good ones. It limits your sugar, but I have found alot of alternatives for sugar and I feel better when I eat them instead of sugar. You can get a copy of the diet from your doctor or online, I think. At first you will have to keep a diary of your eating, but once you get used to it, it is easy to follow.

I recently lost weight and I did it by cutting back on my portions, I tried alot of diets and that's the only thing that really worked for me because if you diet then eventually you have to come off the diet and you gain back all the weight so it's better to just cut back on your portions and that way you can maintain your weight once you loose it.

In order to lose weight safely and maintain a healthy weight you need to adopt a healthy lifestyle, that said:
- consume more fiber (helps you feel full and helps maintain healthy intestinal tract) Some good sources of fiber are: whole wheat, oatmeal, high fiber cereals
- eat plenty of fruits and veggies
- drink more water (it helps eliminate toxins from your system...often we think we are hungry when in fact we are thristy)
- eat protein-rich foods like: salmon, tuna and soy products
- eliminate fast foods/processed foods - they are full of empty calories, high in fat and loaded with chemicals & preservatives
- eliminate all types of soda, including diet (another empty calories culprit...and it rots your tooth enamel...eewww)
- eat healthy snacks like: almonds, fruit, veggies instead of candy and chips
- stop eating about two hours before bedtime...try a cup of herbal tea after dinner
- find a sport you enjoy...you're more likely to stick with an exercise program that you like
- Most of all, stick to it and be patient!

my advice it to talk to your doctor. he/she would know any medical conditions you might have that is causing you to be morbidly obese. talk to your parent about making an appointment. doctors can also give you menus and workout routines and they know best!
