you have nothing to feel guilty about, its normal, it would be abnormal if you didnt, anyone who says they dont is a liar

I have felt guilty in the past because I thought it was immoral i.e. lustfull and shamefull as I believed I 'HAD' to, or should, be in a relationship. As to the latter, I've gotten into inappropriate relationships - the 'better than nothing' type, with worse consequences. With the former, I found it impossible to ignore the erections or the frustration , not to mention the stress, which often lead to bad temperedness. Not a laughing matter. I do not feel guilty any more, feel calmer and avoid bad relationships. In my 'ideal' world I wouldnt but can think of a lot worse things to worry about, Medically it can reduce the chance of prostrate cancer .Pls see link below . I wish you peace.

Why should you feel guilty about it? Masturbation is the most natural thing in the world. Everybody has done it at some point in their lives, and those who have said they haven't are liars.
As long as you are not fantasising about kids or animals etc, you know what I mean..., then you are fine. Just keep it private ok? :-)
If you need to release this tension and don't, you may become bad tempered and frustrated. Don't let 'society' govern what you do behind closed doors. Keep your pecker up! lol

I LOVE masturbating. Look if that's what you have to do to make yourself feel good then all power to ya!! It's your body, your body fluids why the heck not. BUT if you're feeling bad menatlly for a long time afterward you need to do some soul searching and find out why.
I feel bad sometimes afterwards I'm glad to know someone else is experiening the same thing. However, I got to the bottom of my feeling guilty and discovered I felt bad because I was a little emabarrased but what is there to be embarrased about? No one knows about it but you....unless you share it with someone...

If you feel guilty about it, don't do it. Why lay a guilt-trip on yourself. Don't obsess about it, get busy and do something constructive. Go for a walk, do some work, help somebody else.
In response to those who call it a sin, there's not a single word in the Bible about masturbation, for OR against. (Onan was different, he was refusing to give his wife children because she had been his brother's wife first.)
The only thing is, it can become compulsive behaviour. It's also subject to "the law of diminishing returns"....the more you do it the less you enjoy it, it becomes a habit. Sex for one is kind of selfish, if you think about it.
So, if it makes you feel guilty, don't do it.

Since the coming {no pun intended } of the internet ,masturbating has increased tenfold, it,s a natural thing to do, but don,t let it be the hobby in your life. Get a partner and direct your energy that way.

i have no idea why you felling gilty because its a prefecly normal thing for use guys to do. i think if you ask an guy if you masturbated the answer would be yes so i wouldnt be very worried about. just enjoy it but do what ever makes you feel comfertable

i lived w/guilt feelins for years, after i masturbated myself. in fact, the guilt was so intense that i went to see a psychiatrist. together, we discussed my various reasons for feeling guilty. he assured me that masturbation is ok. who better knows how to pleasure you than yourself. all men do j--k off. it's a normal, natural bodily function.
masturbation becoms a problem when it is used EXCLUSIVELY
as your only source of sexual satisfaction, meaning partnered sex is being avoided, for whatever reason(s)
i can honestly say that i don't experience any feelings of guilt when i masturbate now. so, please don't continur yo beat youself up over this issue. masturation is a gift. what we do w/gits is use/play w/them. have fun doing what EVERY male does.

Only feel guilty if you do it infront of someone you shouldn't ie Kids or old ladies.

this is a very personal question to be asking the Yahoo! masses. My advice is to get a girl/guy and not have to worry about the masturbating.
