Both countries offer good job opportunities for pharmacists. Australia is also another country to consider.
If you are a foreign graduate, you still have to undergo training in all countries and take their examinations.
In the USA, all foreign graduates take the FPGEE ( Foreign Pharamcy Graduate Equivalency Examination ) which is given 2x a year. It is given on December and June. The examination centers varies. Usually there are 3 simulataneous exam centers, one is California
( last December it was in San Francisco, this June It was in San Mateo, and in San Jose this December). The other 2 centers are in Chicago and New York. After passing the examination, the candidate should pass an english examination, TSE & Toefl or the TOEFL-IBT. After passing the FPGEE and English examination, we wait for the FPGEC certification . One can choose which state to undergo internship training. Usually depends on the State. Some requires 1,500 hours. Sign in bonus is already given for the interns. I just dont know if all training centers give it. After the internship, licensure examination is taken. The work of the pharmacists includes counseling and coordinating with the doctors and checking patient profile.
