(Gentlemen may also offer input.) I haven't worn one in about three years, but I kinda started thinking about it now that my abs are starting to look nice. I just don't want to be so totally stuck in 2003, you know, like carrying around one of those purses with a dog inside. ☺

I took mine out around 2002, only because I got pregnant and didn't want it stretched or any kind of scar. I started working out about a month ago..and as soon as my stomach gets nice and flat again, I plan on having it re-pierced. I do airbrush tanning for a living, and I have been tanning a ton of girls this month for homecoming...a lot of them have their belly buttons pierced. So, I would say, go ahead and put a ring back in that belly button...especially if you have a nice stomach that you are proud of..some people don't realize the amount of work it takes to keep a tight tummy, you should be proud :-) And with all the different rings they have now for belly buttons, you could get some really cute jewelry!

Yes, belly button rings are still in. But honestly, I don't think that you should do it for fashion purposes. If you want to peirce something it should completely be by preference and not because it looks cool.

I think belly button rings have gone the way of midwestern white trash. You ever notice how all the trends eventually end up on the white trash folks in Iowa like 4 years later? Well that's where it is. I'd say leave the ring out, and stay classy.

I have never had one of those. Looked painful to me. Plus around the time they came out I was PG and didn't think that was a good idea. By the time I wasn't PG anymore I didn't like them anymore.

i myself like females abdomen buttons the way they are. I don’t like tattoos the two. various females I see with tats and jewellery seem to be a ‘lil bit desperate … they’re attempting too confusing to get interest.
