My first child, a daughter, was born with no hair....and it took forever for her hair to come in. Now, grown, she has THICK hair. My second child, a son, was born with a head full of dark hair. In fact, my daughter was 21 months old when my son was born. He had more hair at birth that she did at 21 months. You never know, and really, a bald baby head is easier to keep clean than a baby with lots of hair.

I was not born with a lot of hair. My hair actually didn't start growing until I was 3-4 yrs old! Now I have beautiful long blonde hair, so maybe it was a good thing.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! The link between heartburn and babies being born with a lot of hair is SOOOOOOO true. I had heartburn 24/7 when I was pregnant. Anything I ate had my chest burning. It was a feeling as if I had drank some alcohol without mixing it with anything. Now my son is 5 weeks old with a head full of hair. I can barely see his scalp.

I had a whole head of hair when I was born, and my son (born almost 3 months early) had a full head of hair...which is unusual for a baby born that early, and neither my mom or I ever had heartburn. My niece was as bald as a ball and my sister had horrible heartburn.

My daughter was born with tons of hair. And she did not lose any of it like they say some babies do. She also had/has alot of body hair. She has hair on her legs, arms, back, and had hair on her ears when she was born. She is now 10 months old. They say if your baby has alot of hair you have heartburn. That was true with my daughter and I am now 22 weeks pregnant and have heartburn all day everyday.

Nope. He has a little bit of hair but its really blonde so he almost looks bald. His father and myself were the same way when we were born too.

My neice on the other hand was born with a full set of black hair and it just kept growing and growing. I can't remember when we had to cut her hair for the first time but it was very early!

No, all three of my kids were born with very little hair. What they did have was so light blonde, you could hardly see it at all. Was very cute! But on that note, every one of them now has massively THICK hair. (they are all teens now.) I hate to be the one to burst the myth about heart burn, But I kept a really bad one most of the time. In my case the heart burn didn't produce alot of hair on my babies.

Yes, strangely he was born with a full head of dark hair. Now it is very blonde. I was the same...I started out with black hair, it went to red and then to blonde. Now, it's going a little dirty blonde because I had my son. Hair is so weird!

Nope. My daughter didn't have any hair - bald like her grandpa, for almost 18 months. Neither did I - my mom used to GLUE ribbons on my head so people would know I was a girl! My daughter is 7 now and has a full head of beautiful hair. Mine, on the other hand, is...well, you know 'they' always say the grass is greener on the other side...is anybody ever truly happy with their hair?? (:
