The digital camera I have can be used as a webcam. When I tryed to use it on yahoo messenger a box pops up and says "webcam does not support required image size". What is the required size and how do I fix this so I can use my camera as a webcam?

I tried lowering the resolution from 640x480 to 320x240 (these are the only two options I have). It still says the same thing when I try to use it. Does anyone know of anything else I could try?

my guess is you need to change the settings on your camera.. right now it's probably set to take really large picture files with very high resolutions and you probably need to lower the resolution considerably to get it to work well with a webpage..

I think in the camera setup menu you should choose the mode in which you want it to work. Also check if your camera is listed in the Yahoo Messenger as a "device".

Give me your make and model number, will try to find some solution.
