47 calls / 30 days = 1.56666... calls per day on average.

The long way would be to take a weighted average as follows:
( 0 x 17 + 1 x 7 + 2 x 3 + 2 x 4 + 12 x 1 + 14 x 1 ) / 30 days, but lo and behold:
= (0 + 7 + 6 + 8 + 12 + 14) / 30
= 47 / 30
= 1.56666... calls per day

So either way the answer is the same.

Over the 30 day period, 47 calls per 30 days = 47/30 = 1.567 calls/day. The distribution is irrelevant.

If the ? is calls/day only on the days CALLS WERE MADE, then take out the 17 days on which none were made to give (30-17) = 13 and you have 47 calls per 13 days = 47/13 = 3.615 c/d

the mean is simple:
47calls/30days=1.57calls/day

If you want the medium, it the # of calls where there were 15 days with <= & 15 with >=

The medium is 0
