The media should have a lot of power, the power of the pen.

It's the 1st ammendment to the constitution. The 1st should be the most important. The idea behind a powerful media is to educate the people about what our gov is really doing and keep them honest.

But in order to do that, the media can't be controlled by one or even a few entities. It must be free for all to use. No single outlet should have control in a single area. The control needs to be spread out so many opinions can be heard without censure.

Media is so biased nowadays it really does brain wash people to think things and believe things that arent true. The best channel for news is FOXNEWS.
You hear all sides to every story and they leave you with your own interpretation.
The media definitely has more power!!!!!!!!!
It can brainwash society

I think yes. I think if all the media outlets were to band together and slant their stories the same way, any government would fall.

I think the media could have more power if every one believed every thing they said.
