Mr. Burns' age is inconsistant - he's clearly shown as being a young boy at the turn of the 20th century (watching atoms being smashed with hammers) - and he ordered Smithers to recruit ballplayers who've been dead for 150 years - and he and Abe Simpson were in the same unit in WW2 - and he was nearly the same age as he is now during the roaring 20's - and he answers the telephone "Ahoy-hoy?", which was the greeting proposed by Alexander Graham Bell - it's, well, inconsistant.
