Well, he's after all, the gingerbread man and he is out of the pan, so try as you might, he can't be caught. He is out of the pan so he is just very excited to run out away from the old man and woman who made him, away from the cow or the dog or the horse or the farmer or from the hungry old hog who wants to eat him. You have to be cunning enough to outwit the gingerbread man like the fox so you could catch and eat him. One thing also is that the gingerbreadman is made from flour so he is as light as a feather and catching him will be hard to do.

That gingerbread has eluded me for far to long. His little iced legs *yum* run so very fast. The icing *lick my lips* breaks off just a little. Then you have to stop and get the icing that fell *Yummy*. You bend down to savory that wonderful sweet taste only to look up and he is gone, gone again. *SIGH* Fooled again by the sweet sweet thing, the gingerbread man.

Because i tried and tripped over my neighbors toy car and the gingerbread man ran up a tree! then when he came down I ran to catch him and he was in the toy car i tripped over and sped fast down the street.
