I`m from Quebec so I have to ask. Do you mean from the UK? I won`t generalize but the English people I`ve come into contact with have been very nice and quite down to earth. I love their sense of humour What a hoot!

Quite frankly, I cant understand half of them,, especially like Mick Jaggar, he talks so fast I cant understand him, and I know he's speaking the same language I'm speaking.. but the English, in general I barely understand 1/2 of what they say... with all the English slangs,,plus their accents being so strong, its really amazing how we are speaking the same language, but dont hardly understand them.. I often wonder if they feel this way about American's? Otherwise, I love the English!! I think some of them "blue-bloods" are rather' stuffy, (snobby, in American language), but otherwise, I really like them, I just ignore those who are snobs, like the Queen, and I feel sorry for her, for all the Load, she has to carry, for England.. I Loved, loved loved "Lady Di" and I still miss her... I kept a magazine about her, and her death.. Her life, was so sad, almost as sad, as her death.. And I just love all the Great Classic English Rock-Stars!!! Mick, Rod, & the like... I had a crush on Rod Stewart, when I was a teenager!! Ha! Ha! I have nothing bad to say about the English!! At all !! I do feel sorry for them that they used to be our "Brother-Country" but with our President, we've had for almost two full-terms now, I really dont think they like him at all, and nor do I !! so, their not alone, 1/2 of Americans dont like our own President, so please tell them, that!! He cant get out of the White House, fast enough for a lot of us!!! Otherwise, English-Rock!!!! Smile!!!

As an American I admire them greatly. I am fascinated by the accents and would love to visit the country.
I have always found English tourists here in the States to be particularly courteous and respectful.

I find them to be interesting. Their use of slang is fascinating, using the word "bloody" in almost every sentence.
