Do you mean tinnitus? If this is what you mean, then in some cases yes, in some cases, no. Tinnitus is the constant ringing in your ears from over exposure to very loud noise. For the most part this "ringing" is caused by permanent damage to the "hearing" part of the ear. In some cases you can have temporary tinnitus after going to a concert or short exposure to a loud noise.
