Do those same Americans not believe in dinosaurs? I do not recall hearing about them in the bible. What about handguns? Are those just a myth the nonbelievers came up with to lead us from the path of righteousness?

The reason is simple: Americans don't know jack about science. It would appear that many would rather put their fingers in their ears, head in the sand, and shout non-sense in hopes that all the evolution talk won't somehow contaminate them until they can reach their fairy-tale land. They shout non-sense psuedo-science, distort physical law due to a complete lack of knowledge to fit their needs.

Two people really started every single human? REally? So from 2, we have this extrarodiarily diverse DNA all over the planet? How did we avoid all of the problems with sibling offspring that appears within 2 generations? God's way i guess?

No, the theory of evolution is not true.. The Theory of evolution says that in the beginning there was nothing but hydrogen in space in many clouds. Over a period of millions of years these clouds moved closer and closer together and became compacted into one big ball which started to develop heat and as it became more constricted the heat got so intense that the ball exploded and all the universe was made. When it cooled, amino acids developed and eventually single cell animals and then on into man. The theory says that EVERYTHING in the universe came from thin air (hydrogen)
1. First law of thermal dynamics says that matter can neither be created or destroyed. How did all the matter in the universe get here? Where did the helium come from?
2. In evolution, we have fossils in the museums of every known living organism, including dinosaurs. Yet we have not ONE fossil of one organism between the known organisms. Why do we not have a fossil of a half ape/half man for example? Or from a lizard to a horse?
3. The second and third laws of thermal dynamics also lend proof that the theory of evolution is false. Check it out.

People who don't believe in evolution either do so because it condradicts another theory they believe in or because they simply haven't seen the overwhelming evidence. Either way, it is just that, a theory, albeit a very hard one not to believe in once you've seen the evidence. The problem I think most people who don't believe in it have is that they lack all the background information that you need to have in order to fully understand the theory. Like how does carbon dating work? how do geological processes explain what the world looked like half a billion years ago? How can a set of genes change over time to code for a different trait than what it originally coded for? Once people have these tools it becomes much easyer to understand the theory. Most people don't take the time and unfortunately just write it off as ''we came from monkeys'', when in fact the theory is much more complicated and thus more vulnerable to misinterpretation by those who oppose it.

As you can well see by some of the comments above, lack of understanding of the process of evolution is a big factor. To the lady who ranted about ''how could all the things come into place where they need to be in our brains" etc. All you need to do is open a biology book, the pages are filled with answers to your questions. I hope you read this.

No... it's because the Bible specifically mentions that Adam and Eve were the first of the human species to be created and were in God's image. This contradicts Darwin's theory of evolution directly.

The Bible also mentions God created animal life, but since it does not specify species, dinosaurs are subject to personal beliefs. In general, most Christians do not believe in them because the time line for their existence contradicts the time table that biblical scholars calculate was the beginning of creation.

Handguns? Where the heck you pulling that one out from? Advancements that fit within reasonable timelines and are proof positive in existence today do not contradict the Bible, and therefore are not an issue of belief for Christians, just as with Automobiles, etc.

Those that don't believe in evolution still believe in the tooth fairy and are dealers in faith and not knowledge. It is a fact that 99% of the things that have lived on this earth are now extinct. We will be gone in the blink of a geological eye. Near Denver, CO, I just had a chance to visit Red Rock ... a massive amount of land that was pushed up over 45 degrees as the Rockey mountains was being formed. I thought to myself, this must have happened over a million years ago. Then I saw a sign that said 250 million years ago.

Actually there are references to dinosaurs in the Bible. I can't recall the books though. I'll have to do some research and get back to you on that. But obviously they weren't' called dinosaurs. Charles Darwin recanted everything he said and wrote about evolution before he died. So if the guy who made it up says he made it up, what does that make you?

There is a simple answer to everything don't you know this yet?

Dinosaurs were created at the same time as people, 6000 years ago, give or take a day or two. They are one of the beasts mentioned in the Bible. Some creatures, including dinosaurs, have died out, they did not please God and they were not useful to mankind..

There is no proof of evolution, it's a mere "theory" and any so called evidence is fraudulent. Carbon "dating" is nonsense and fossils are clearly invented "proof": for one thing, they're made of stone, not bone! Godless scientists care nothing for the truth: their only goals are to spread atheism and get socialist welfare handouts of our taxpayer money to support their immoral research and baby killing.

Handguns?? I don't see how they are related to your argument -- you liberal traitors are so illogical. God gave mankind dominion over all the animals of the earth. He inspired man to create instruments to harvest the any edible animal, fish or fowl. (I personally enjoy the sport of shooting fish with my 38) Sometimes, the sons of Cain fall from the path of righteousness, and guns are here to protect us from these wicked ones. The Founders, very religious Christians themselves, were also inspired by God when they wrote the Second Amendment giving us the inalienable right to bear arms.

Only lies and falsehoods are complicated, religion is easy. Fancy theology and philosophy are replete with heresy. They are secondary works at best, at their worst, they derive their inspiration from Satan himself. God wrote everything we need to know in the Holy Bible. Read it, believe on it, and be Saved!

yup. and they are pretending that the bible is a textbookt hat teaches science. Maybe they should check out the Noble prize winner for physics this year. Then they will know how the universe was created.
and i saw a crazy guy on tv who says that dinosaurs still exist and a lizard will grow unihibited if it isnt in a cage. which can't be ture- because what about kimodo dragons?! use your brains and some critical thinking people!

The bible doesn't say that there are no dinosaurs. The bible doesn't say that there are no handguns. The Bible DOES say that God created all the animals and people.

It's not that the bible doesn't mention evolution, it's that it directly contradicts it.

dinosaurs are mentioned in the bible. as were weapons. A handgun is just a modern weapon that serves the same purpose as say a sword did in that time period, and that was to protect yourself and your family.
